Woodruff Academy (WA) is an academic pace-setting private school located in sunny Central Florida. WA's students commonly commute by parent-provided transportation to our comfortable Winter Park, Florida campus. Our campus students attend classes four days each week. Fridays include service projects, field days, study labs, field trips, and homework. Additionally, we also register correspondence students through WA's home study courses. Woodruff Academy is proud to host a fully-accredited, state-approved VPK program at its Winter Park campus. Woodruff Academy is not solely a special needs school. However, limited resources are available to assist parent supported exceptional need students and/or Florida School Choice John McKay Scholarship students-WWA believes that all students must first feel physically and emotionally safe, feel secure in who they are, and specifically feel cared for in their environment so they may then focus on the academic learning process. |
